FAQ: ordering and artwork

Do I need an account to see prices?
Yes. Sign in with your email and that is the account: no password to set. Every product then shows a live quote by size and quantity, with the per-piece price on each tier. Ordering also needs an account so your files and proofs stay attached to your order.
How do I send my print file?
Attach it when you add the item to the cart. PDF is preferred; AI, EPS, SVG, PNG, JPG, TIF and PSD work too, up to 20 MB. Bigger files, or files you do not have yet, can be emailed to sales@print.doctor with your order number after you order.
Is the file check free?
Yes. It runs in your browser on every upload, before checkout, and costs nothing. Only the optional fixes (adding bleed, resizing, converting RGB to CMYK, outlining fonts) and the design service carry a fee, and both are shown in the quote before you accept them.
Can you design it for me?
Yes, on every product. Choose "Design it for me", tell us what it should say and look like, and add a logo, sketch or photo if you have one. Our designers lay it out and email you a proof within 24 to 48 hours. Three rounds of revisions are included; each round adds time before it prints. The design fee is added to your cart as its own line.
Die-cut or kiss-cut stickers?
Die-cut goes through the backing, so the sticker is the shape; that is the one you hand out. Kiss-cut leaves the backing whole around the sticker, so it peels easily and mails flat. Sheets put several kiss-cut stickers on one backing. Finishes and surfaces are in the sticker guide.
Car magnet or vehicle decal?
A magnet comes off in seconds and moves between vehicles; 30 mil is the thickness that stays put at highway speed. A laminated decal is permanent, lies flat and suits a dedicated work vehicle. Sizes, care and window options are in the car magnet guide.
Do you serve Columbus, or only Lincoln?
Both. The shop is in Lincoln and the service area covers Lincoln and Columbus, Nebraska. Because everything is ordered online, a Columbus order gets the same file check, the same designers and the same catalog; finished work ships to you and shipping shows in checkout. See the Columbus page.
Are you cheaper than Sticker Mule, VistaPrint or Staples?
Usually, and we check. We price the catalog against the big national printers product by product and aim to come in under them at the same size and quantity. If you find the same product for less, bring us the price before you order and we will match it and take up to 10% more off, down to what the job costs us to produce.
